One of the main advantages of 3D planning is to work with complex anatomies such as Hip dysplasia, deformed femoral necks and acetabula to be able to determine the exact intraoperative values. The anteversion of the acetabular cup and the femoral offset is very important in order to avoid dislocations of the prosthesis stem and cup.
With just one click, ZedView exports all relevant values such as inclination/anteversion of the cup, femoral offset, torsion of the socket to the PCA* as well as the reaming depth of the cup component in a detailed report and saves them in a revision-proof manner in the internal PACS system**.
Thanks to the universal navigation system from Naviswiss, it's possible to transfer the planned values of the acetabular component and the offset to the patient, intraoperatively! Naviswiss reduces and simplifies surgical navigation to decrease costs and improve quality.
